From 1980 till 2005 their was an annual Mister de Gaykrant election, organized by the Dutch bi-weekly gay magazine "de Gaykrant".

In every edition of the magazine a candidate was introduced with a full page of completed naked pictures of the candidate. Around 1990 a lot of those pictures were taken by Photographer Jan Swinkels.

Later on Jan Swinkels published a photobook called

"the undressed Dutchman".

One of the candidate of the "Mister de Gaykrant" , Marcel den Engelsman did donate to KinkyRicky fine male art, the full series of pictures taken of him by Jan Swinkels and published in 1990 in "de Gaykrant".
